I am a Colombian-American with a German husband living in Charlotte, NC and a mom to a baby girl. My love for natural, non-toxic, eco friendly, organic, and sustainable items is a part of my everyday lifestyle so it was a no brainer when we started setting up the nursery and investing in toys for our little one that we maintained the same criteria.

I found myself wanting to invest in wooden, unique toys that were as close to what my husband and I loved to play with as children. As kids at heart, we realized that  these toys we invested in were the perfect fit for our family, not just because my little one loves them but we do too and we get to feel great about purchasing them because we get to avoid the guilt of adding to the waste in our planet.

I have for some time envisioned owning a business where I would sell the products that my children and I love, and that allowed us to get lost in the creativity and imagination in their playroom. That is why when I heard about Katharina retiring from the wooden toy business, I felt the desire to continue with her legacy and to incorporate my vision for the store.

Kinder Playroom is about bringing a curated collection of toys that are made from wood, non-toxic, eco-friendly, sustainable and unique available to parents that are looking for some of the same things we are.
